Avalon, PA  - North Hills Community Outreach is pleased to announce the relocation of its North Boroughs ’s office and food pantry, now located in Greenstone United Methodist Church 939 California Avenue in Avalon, PA (15202).
“We are so excited to partner with Greenstone to help us to better serve the community and are truly blessed to have this opportunity”, says Nancy Jones, NHCO North Boroughs Outreach Manager  “Our new offices and food pantry are located on the main floor of this magnificent, historic landmark, right on California Avenue on a bus line, making it easy for everyone to access our services.” 
North Hills Community Outreach has a mission to address the needs of people in crisis, poverty and crisis in communities in northern Allegheny County.   NHCO’s North Boroughs office will continue to provide all its current programs and services to eligible people in need in its new location, which includes: a food pantry; housing, transportation and utility assistance; individual case management, In Service of Seniors practical supports for seniors, WorkAble employment and career counseling, Ask the Attorney legal counseling, education assistance, free income tax preparation and much more.  To find out more about NHCO’s North Boroughs programs and services, call 412-307-0069.

North Hills Community Outreach opened its first satellite office in Bellevue in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in 1997, before moving to AGH Suburban General in 2001.   This relocation project was possible only through the generosity, dedication and hard work of our community partners, friends, donors and volunteers.
